Get to know Sheriff Bakewell

Ben Bakewell has been part of the Nance County Sheriff’s Department since 2008 and is currently in his second term as Sheriff.

Sheriff Bakewell is originally from Lincoln. He is a graduate of Nebraska Wesleyan University where he majored in History with a minor in Social Anthropology. He also played basketball while there.
