    NANCE COUNTY — The Nance County Board of Supervisors are working to obtain state and federal funds after heavy rains and floods left many county roads damaged or completely washed away.

    “We are declaring a disaster from the storm,” Nance County Supervisor Tim Cornwell said.

    Cornwell signed the disaster declaration on Monday.
