Two arrested after pursuits on Friday

NORTH PLATTE — Troopers with the Nebraska State Patrol have arrested two people following separate pursuits Friday.At approximately 10:40 a.m. Friday, a trooper attempted a traffic stop in Thayer County, near Bruning on County Road 6300.

FULLERTON — The city of Fullerton is cooperating with the Nebraska State Patrol regarding a $174,086.55 wire fraud scheme.The Fullerton City Attorney Katie Sharp released the following statement:The City of Fullerton announced that it fell victim to a sophisticated wire fraud scheme.

FULLERTON — This is the 21st year of offering a golf camp to students in 5th-9th grades A Junior Golf Camp was held at Pawnee Hills for students in 5th through 9th grades on June 15-18 with 18 campers. The camp was broken into 2 groups with 2 rotations.

STROMSBURG — A Fullerton grad was crowned Swedish Festival king on Friday in Stromsburg. The following is the biography that was read at his coronation: Steve R. Dubas, youngest child of seven, was born to Steve and Mildred Dubas of Fullerton. He graduated from Fullerton High School in 1989.
