CCC tuition, fees stay the same for next year

GRAND ISLAND — Central Community College students will not see an increase in the cost of tuition and fees for 2024-25. This after the CCC Board of Governors voted unanimously to keep tuition at $96 per credit hour and fees at $16 per credit hour during its monthly meeting on March 21.

Community Builders

Genoa welcomed Community Builders on March 21. Tours included Maple Creek Seeds by owner Rachel Sindelar; Howells Ballroom by Manager Rhonda Barling; Howells Historical Museum by board members Kathy Heard and Scott Polacek; and Eighty 8 Bar & Grill by Owner Brad Hegemann.

Ten members of the Boone Nance Genealogical Society gathered at the Fullerton Public Library on March 11th. With March being Women’s History Month, members told stories and memories about female ancestors.

Titans finish 2nd at state

KEARNEY — Not a bad way to finish a speech season.Twin River returned home from the NSAA State Speech Championships in Kearney with a lot of hardware. The team medaled in 9 of the 10 categories and finished the day as runner-up in the team sweepstakes.
