Fullerton finishes fifth at speech district

POLK — Fullerton saw its speech season come to an end on Tuesday at the NSAA District D1-4 meet at High Plains. Fullerton finished fifth in the team sweepstakes with 56 points. Riverside took home the team title with 346 points.

Twin River wins district title, sending 14 to state

GENOA — Twin River took home the top prize on Monday at the NSAA Speech District C2-4 held in Genoa.Twin River won the team sweepstakes with 342 points. Aquinas Catholic finished second with 198 points. Shelby-Rising City finished third with 176 points. Cross County finished fourth with 90 points.

Fullerton adds new teaching program

FULLERTON — Nebraska is facing a teacher shortage and Fullerton Public Schools is being proactive. The Fullerton Schools Board of Education approved a new Pathway to Teaching program on Monday at the board’s monthly meeting.

‘A Building for Everyone’

FULLERTON — In January of this year, the foundation was poured for the new addition to the Nance County Veterans Museum and Military Resource Center. Within only a few weeks, a matching metal addition was erected.
