‘A Building for Everyone’

FULLERTON — In January of this year, the foundation was poured for the new addition to the Nance County Veterans Museum and Military Resource Center. Within only a few weeks, a matching metal addition was erected.

Holy Cow Coffee earns First Dollar award

Holy Cow Coffee LLC was presented with a First Dollar award by Chamber President Suzanne Schweitz. The business is owned and operated by Riley (Goob) Lane and his fiancé Carly Fangman. They purchased the trailer and equipment last February then opened April of 2023.

Spring forward on Sunday

Don’t forget to set your clocks before going to bed on Saturday. You lose an hour of sleep when the clocks “spring forward” and are turned ahead at 2 a.m. for one hour when Daylight Saving Time begins. In the fall when DST ends, clocks “fall back” an hour in November.

Voters to decide on $39.9M project

GENOA — It’s official. Twin River Schools are going back to the voters. Last week the district announced plans to build a new 96,060 square foot facility on the same city block where the school currently sits. The plan, which cannot exceed $39.9 million, calls for the removal of the 1929 building.
