Senior behavioral health receives positive evaluation

COLUMBUS – The hospital’s senior behavioral unit recently scored extremely well in a Horizon Health audit. Horizon Health is a behavioral management system that helps improve behavioral health programs while keeping the hospital’s goals top of mind.

The patient was young, healthy, and short of breath. She had not been sick recently, other than a minor cough. Her oxygen level was normal and her lungs sounded clear. Her heart rate was a little fast and she was breathing rather quickly, too.

County enjoys Fair, Fourth & Fun

Broadway was lined with families on Sunday for the Fourth of July Parade. There were plenty of American flags, candy (and a few water balloons) as the community gathered to celebrate their freedom. There was plenty to do over the weekend at the Nance County Fair.

City offers first ever community garden

FULLERTON — It seems that over the last couple of years the average person’s grocery budget has just about doubled. Fresh produce has especially become more expensive, leading some to stop buying it all together. City employee April Sack has decided to do something about it.
The city officially opened its newest playground last week. Ribbon cut for new park equipment

FULLERTON — Fullerton residents, especially younger ones will notice something new in the city park. City government, members of the Park Board and community members gathered at the park on Friday to officially open the new playground equipment. Shortly after 11 a.m.

FULLERTON — The 4th of July festivities look a little different this year for the Fullerton community following a change in tradition. City administrators elected to move the 4th of July firework display and the parade to align with other events in Fullerton that weekend.
