Military Friendly Designation Bestowed Upon CCC

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. – Central Community College has achieved a top 10 gold level ranking for small colleges, earning it the 2023-24 Military Friendly School designation. Specifically, CCC finished sixth on the list of 95 small colleges nationwide.

Update from former community member, Betty Mapes: In 2013, Norm and I moved south of Merriman, NE on our acreage on the Niobrara river. Walt lives in Morgonton NC, he works for Cummins Meritor and is the Operations Lead. His son Ben is in his last year at Appalachian State in Boone NC.
