Kaine Johnston graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas on March 2, 2023. He is one of the first Space Force guardians to be chosen from this area. Kaine’s rank in the Space Force is Specialist 1. He is currently at Tech School for his specialty.

Inspect Evergreens for Insects and Diseases Now

There is not much to do in our landscapes during March, but we can inspect evergreens for pests and if found, and when justified, make plans for control later this spring. Check spruce, Juniper and Arborvitae for bagworms.

COLUMBUS, Neb. — Tyler Hiner of Columbus has joined Loup Power District as an Equipment Operator at the Columbus Service Center. Hiner operates the District’s heavy equipment and is part of the crew that performs maintenance on the canal system from Genoa to Columbus.

Fullerton Public Library March Report

The renovations at the library are moving right along. The library will be open again on Wednesday, March 15! Everything may not be in its permanent location at that point, but bear with us as we continue to organize the space with all the changes.
