CPPD Fund Gives to Fullerton, Genoa Organizations

Cornhusker Power Goodwill Fund trustees awarded $3,400 to 15 organizations, including ones in Fullerton and Genoa, at the May 1 meeting. “These organizations are doing great things in the community, and we are very proud to be a part of it,” Cornhusker Public Power District CEO/ GM Clay Gibbs said.

FULLERTON — MeganToahty has been selected to be a part of the NCDA’s Summer All-State Choir. The All-State Choir is made up of freshmen through recent graduating seniors. Toahty will join singers from around the state in an intensive honor choir experience.

GENOA — It marked the end of one journey and the beginning of another. Twin River celebrated 26 graduating seniors on Saturday, sending some off to college and others off to the workforce. It was the culmination of the journey that began 13 years ago when the class of 2023 entered kindergarten.
