The alley by Head Start got a face lift on Friday, March 10. Employees at Preferred Sands, Keith Ferris and Josh Coe heard that the alley was in need of rework. The two of them took charge and were determined to fix the problem.

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. – Central Community College has achieved a top 10 gold level ranking for small colleges, earning it the 2023-24 Military Friendly School designation. Specifically, CCC finished sixth on the list of 95 small colleges nationwide.

Andrew Schmidt was selected trustee to represent Platte County at the Cornhusker Power Goodwill Fund meeting on February 13. He replaces David Scharff who served two threeyear terms. Schmidt lives outside of Monroe in Platte County and enjoys hunting and fishing.
