Genoa sets June clean up days

GENOA — The city of Genoa has scheduled the city-wide cleanup day for June 15-16.Dumpsters will be available at the bus barn on Paper Street to allow residents to dispose of unwanted items. The designated time on Sunday, June 15 is noon to 7 p.m. and on Monday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

FULLERTON — The Fullerton Volunteer Fire Department is asking for help from the public to identify all past members of the department ahead of Memorial Day.The department recently purchased 100 grave placards to be displayed on Memorial Day at the Fullerton Cemetery.

The Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) is pleased to announce the student recipients of the Winter 2024-2025 Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association (NCPA) Academic All-State Awards.

Bloodmobile collects 54 units

Fullerton Bloodmobile was held April 8th. We collected 54 units, which was under quota, but still amazing. Those giving doubles were Craig Christensen, Zach Bialas, Mike McCray, and Dan Steinbach.

Community Builders to meet in Albion April 24

Community Builders announces the next town tour to be held in Albion on Thursday,April 24, 2025. The tour begins at 11 a.m. at Boone County Ag & Education Center at 2616 Fairgrounds Rd. Lunch will follow at noon at The J Sports Bar & Grill.
