Weeds have begun to grow. If herbicides are a weed control method used and you tend to apply the same herbicide each year, this could lead to herbicide resistant weeds.Herbicide resistant weeds are plants able to survive labeled application rates of an herbicide that previously killed the weed.

Fullerton giving away trees

NCJ Staff ReportFULLERTON — The city of Fullerton is observing Arbor Day by giving away trees on Tuesday.Trees will be available at city hall, located at 903 Broadway St., from 8-10 a.m. Arbor Day is Friday, April 25.

Nebraska Christian choir performs on Sunday

The public is cordially invited to attend the Nebraska Christian School Choir Concert on Sunday at 6 p.m. at Victory Baptist Church in Fullerton. The young people in the choir enjoy singing and each year they tour and perform in various towns in the state.
The Kitten on the Keys Music Studio presented a piano/guitar recital on Sunday, April 6 at 7 p.m. in the First National Bank Community Room. Students played solos and duets for family and friends.
