Week of the Young Child runs April 1-7 this year. This a week long annual celebration focusing on the needs of young children and their families. It also recognizes Early Childhood programs and the services they provide. It was established in 1971 and recognizes that the early childhood years ( birth-8) lay the foundation for children’s success in school and later life.
