Twin River season ends with loss to Cross County

    STROMSBURG — The Titans had an early lead, but could not slow the Cougars in the second quarter.

    Cross County (20-5) used a 22-point second quarter to take control of Twin River on their way to a 68-60 semifinal win in the C2-4 Sub-District.

    The Titans (12-11) connected on 24-of-54 from the field, including 4-for-13 from behind the three-point arch.

    They hit 8-of-13 attempts from the foul line.
