OMAHA — What a start to state wrestling!
After one day of competition, three out of four area wrestlers are guaranteed a medal: for Twin River, Braxtin Fowler and Zach Held and for Fullerton, Brett Bridger. Jerrod Land lost his first match to top-seeded Collin Vrbka of Shelby-Rising City, and will battle back Friday afternoon in consolations for a chance at third place.
