Legion recognizes veterans for continuous membership

GENOA — Denny Backman and Bob Patrick both joined the U.S. Army in 1954. They both served overseas in Germany. And on Thursday, both men were recognized for their many years of continuous membership to the American Legion.
“They were both previously very active in the Legion,” Genoa Post Commander John Buhl said. “This is the foundation of our legion post.”
