Patricia Ann Lee

Patricia Ann Lee, 80, of Fullerton, passed away peacefully Thursday, July 25, 2024, at Brookstone of Papillion in Papillion.

Memorial services will be at noon on Saturday, Aug. 3, 2024, at Fullerton Community Church in Fullerton with Pastor Joy Church officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at a later date at Fullerton Cemetery in Fullerton. Palmer-Santin Funeral Home is serving the family.

Patricia was born on March 28, 1944, to Milford “Pike” and Faye (Weeks) Swanson on their farm near Palmer. She attended a country school in rural Nance County and graduated from Fullerton High School in 1962. After high school, Patricia attended Kearney State College for a year, where she met Gerald Lee. They married in 1965 and raised three children: Brian, Cynthe, and Steve. In 1975, Patricia moved back to Fullerton and was the first dispatcher for the Nance County Sheriff’s Office and later worked as a legal secretary at Brower, Treadway, and Nespor Law Office in Fullerton for many years. After the law office closed in 2007, she worked at an insurance agency in Fullerton until her retirement in 2017.

Patricia enjoyed crafting, making cards, and watching Husker football. She was an active member of the United Methodist Church, which later became the Fullerton Community Church, where at one time she served as secretary and treasurer. She also sang in the choir for many years and was a member of a local stamping and card-making group.

She is survived by her children, Brian Lee of Fullerton, Cynthe (Dale) Crawford of Plattsmouth, and Steve (Christy) Lee of Papillion; six grandchildren, Michael (Andrea) Crawford, Joshua Crawford, Kalyn Shepherd, Shaylee (Sydney) Tincher, Ryan Lee, and Tyler Lee; one great-grandchild, Lincoln Crawford; sister-in-law, Ramona Swanson of Minden; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Milton ‘Thayne’ Swanson; and daughter-in-law, Michelle Lee.
