Donna was born May 26, 1930, in Edgerton, Mo. She was adopted by N.E. and Lillie P. (Watkins) McNeely. She attended Fullerton Public Schools and graduated in 1949. On June 18, 1950, she was united in marriage to Earl Bishop at First Presbyterian Church in Fullerton. They lived in Ainsworth, Spencer, St. Paul, Central City, Ravenna, and Fullerton. During her years, Donna worked at the Fullerton Co-op, Fullerton Library, and was an operator for the phone company.

She was an active member of First Presbyterian Church, which later became Fullerton Community Church, as well as P.E.O. Her deep love for her church was evident through her years of service in the choir. Passionate about music, she was a member of a trio group with Bev Ballentine and Marilyn McIntyre. In addition to her musical contributions, she also dedicated her time to the American Red Cross blood drives and enjoyed being a part of a bridge club.

Left to mourn her passing are her children, Pamela Sue Bishop of Houston, Texas, Debra Lynn Bishop of Gilmer, Texas, and Tommy Joe Bishop of Palmer.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Earl; infant son, David; and her parents.
