Tom Hellbusch of Fullerton filled his buck tag during the annual Nebraska rifle season with a deer he will remember for years to come. Nance County Sheriff Ben Bakewell unofficially scored it at a 260”. The deer will be officially scored and then compared with the Nebraska state record of 284 0/8”, which is held by Wesley O’Brien of Lexington. Second place on the record is held by Robert Snyder of Genoa at 242 5/8”.
