FULLERTON — Ellie Meysenburg outlasted six of her classmates to win the Nance County Spelling Bee last week.
Meysenburg, a seventh grader, was excited to win.
“I was feeling pretty confident,” she said, though she admitted that she did not expect to win.
She said that she studied for the competition with a few her of classmates.
