Lisa Lassek, board member of the Nance County Foundation, presented a check in May for $5,000 to Riley Lane, Board member of the Nance County Agricultural Society. These grant funds will be used toward the purchase of a tractor/loader to help maintain the fairgrounds, in preparation for the Nance County Fair/Festival, specifically the arena.
Lisa Lassek, board member of the Nance County Foundation, presented a check in May for $5,000 to Megan Zoucha, Board member of the Fullerton Youth Recreational Sports (FYRST) organization. FYRST has been established to provide consistent, equitable & quality management of youth sports in and around the Fullerton area. This grant will be used to establish funds to administer the different programs, buy & maintain equipment, and pay referees and other officials. Photos provided
