LEIGH — Members of the Leigh Public Schools Board of Education voted unanimously to dissolve the Clarkson/Leigh sports coop beginning next year.
The board voted to end the 12-year partnership at their specially called meeting last week. The Clarkson board of education previously approved continuing the coop.
Clarkson/Leigh volleyball played in Class C-1 this year, ending their season over the weekend after being swept by Lincoln Lutheran. The football team finished with a 4-5 record, ending the season with a 48-26 loss to Bridgeport in the opening round of the playoffs.
