Timothy Louis ‘Tim’ Nathan

Hastings resident Timothy Louis “Tim” Nathan, 67, passed away Sunday, Dec. 14, 2025, at Mary Lanning Health Care.       

Rosary will be at 10 a.m. and Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 19, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Hastings with Fr. Craig Clinch officiating. Burial will be 2:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 19, at Fullerton Cemetery in Fullerton. Visitation will be 1-7 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 18, at the funeral home, with the family present from 5-7 p.m. and one hour before the service at the church. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. The service will be live-streamed on Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home’s website. Timothy was born Aug. 23, 1958, in Fullerton, to Rupert & Rose (Pachunka) Nathan. He graduated from Fullerton High School and went on to earn his degree from College of Hair Design. He was a hairdresser for many years in the Hastings area. He enjoyed gardening, yard work and spending time with his Grandchildren.

He is survived by children, Justin (Emily Baudouin) Nathan of Dallas, Ga., and Garrett and Johanna Nathan of Saronville; two grandchildren, Bridget and Levi; siblings, Greg & Pam Nathan of Lincoln and Susan & Scott Zaruba of Norfolk; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Timothy is preceded in death by his parents; son, Preston Nathan; sister, Peggy Luft; and nephew, James Luft.
