Busboom Kelly, Rosen to appear on Nebraska Public Media’s ‘State of Volleyball’ series

LINCOLN — Nebraska Volleyball Head Coach Dani Busboom Kelly and Creighton Volleyball Head Coach Brian Rosen will be guests on the season’s first episode of “State of Volleyball,” Nebraska Public Media’s expanded television interview series.

“State of Volleyball” premieres at 9 p.m. CT, Thursday, Aug. 20 on Nebraska Public Media, YouTube and the PBS app. In addition to Busboom Kelly and Rosen, reporter Lincoln Arneal who co-hosts the “Volleyball State” podcast and writes for “Huskers Illustrated” will be interviewed.

During 10 monthly episodes, “State of Volleyball” host Ana Bellinghausen will dig deeper into the stories, athletes and communities that fuel Nebraska’s passion for volleyball at both the collegiate and professional levels.

Subsequent episodes of “State of Volleyball” will air at 9 p.m. CT on the third Thursday of each month through May 2027, including Sept. 17, Oct. 15, Nov. 19, Dec. 17, Jan. 21, Feb. 18, March 18, April 15 and May 20. The first half of the season will focus on collegiate volleyball with coverage about professional volleyball debuting in the spring.

In addition to her role as host for “State of Volleyball” on Nebraska Public Media, Bellinghausen is the Digital Director at Hurrdat Sports. She has covered volleyball as a reporter, color commentator and play-by-play announcer for BTN+, Big East Digital Network, CBS Sports Network, ESPN+, FS2 and Nebraska Public Media.
