Jody Ann (Eggers) Randall

Jody Ann (Eggers) Randall, 56, of Belgrade, passed away on Sept. 12, 2023. Jody was a person all her own. She lived her life on her own terms, refusing to conform to societal norms. Full of spirit and spontaneity, she was the life of the party and brought joy wherever she went. It was always her way, or the highway and she held true to that to the very last day.

Jody's faith was unyielding, and she had a deep love for her spirit and God. She had an incredible knowledge of the Bible, even being able to quote it on demand. Her unwavering faith was an inspiration to those around her. She held her late father in high regard and always had kind words for her guardian angel.

In her younger years, Jody enjoyed watching her Aunt Jackie and Aunt Lynette play guitar, sing, and practice at St. Leo's Church. She also cherished the moments when the neighborhood kids would gather in her childhood backyard to watch the Honeycutt band practice, sharing popcorn and creating lasting memories. Jody was a woman of many talents, having graduated from business school, beauty school, and even delving into Bible school. She worked as a medical biller for the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, showcasing her versatility and willingness to explore different paths.

Traditions held a special place in Jody's heart, particularly during Christmas time. She was known for making chocolate popcorn garlands to hang around the house, and she strongly believed in passing on something valuable to someone she cherished. Jody also loved singing karaoke and instilled the values of gratitude and never giving up in her children.

Jody is survived by her children: Ashley (Skyler) Kruse of Omaha, Miranda (Gene) Delgado of Genoa and Ryan (Haley) DeMers of Seward. She is also survived by her siblings, Dale Eggers of Belgrade and Debbie (Reuben) Ledezma of Texas; Jody's grandchildren, Orian Dussart, Athena Dussart, Lindsey Delgado, and Adrian Kruse, brought immense joy to her life. She is also remembered by her nieces and nephew, Jessica Lindholm (Twila Allen) of Lincoln, Tony Ledezma of Texas and Christina Ledezma of Texas, along with numerous cousins.

Jody was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Eggers; mother, Kyra Eggers; aunt, Lynette Kelly; cousin, Jeff Hoeft; and granddaughter, Ava Marie Sue DeMers. Their memories will forever be cherished by those who loved Jody.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2023, at 1-4 p.m., at the Eggers Family Trailer located at 605 S. D St in Belgrade, NE. Family and friends are invited to join together to honor and remember Jody's vibrant life.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for financial support for Jody’s end of life expenses. Financial support can be given via Venmo to @embracingtheuncertain or in person at the celebration of life.

Jody will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her fierce spirit, love for life, and unwavering faith will continue to inspire and guide those she touched. May she rest in eternal peace.
