Lynn (Dugan) Owen

Lynn (Dugan) Owen, passed away peacefully in his sleep of lung cancer on January 24, 2023 in Lafayette, Colorado. Dugan was born to Leland and Lois (Foland) Owen in Fullerton, NE on January 9, 1943 and graduated from Fullerton High School in 1961. After high school he joined the Army and was stationed in Korea. After he was discharged from the Army he moved to Colorado and worked for the City of Boulder for more than 35 years. Dugan was married to Virginia (Robinson) in 1973 and would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in February.

Dugan is survived by his wife Virginia, his son Leland (Lee) January 9,1943 - January 24, 2023

and wife Holly of Mead, CO, his daughter Rebecca (Becky) of Arvada, CO and four wonderful grandchildren Syrian, Mariah, Willow and Jacob, and sister Lorraine (Bernard) Eaton of Alabama and brother-in-law James Giebelhause of Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother and sister-in-law Lyle and Ann Owen and sister Janet Giebelhaus.

A Celebration of Life will be held on February 18, 2023 at the Eagles Club in Fullerton, NE between 2-5 pm. Memorials are suggest to the Main Cemetery, Belgrade, NE or nance County Veterans Memorial, Fullerton, NE.
