Marilyn Ann Nauenburg

Marilyn Ann Nauenburg, 76, of Albion, formerly of Cedar Rapids, passed away Monday, April 8, 2024, at Good Samaritan Society in Albion.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 11, 2024, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids with Reverend Brian Ketelsen officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Main Cemetery in Belgrade.

Marilyn was born June 15, 1947, to Frank and Charlotte (Boardman) Nauenburg in Grand Island. She attended country school at District 29 and graduated from Belgrade High School in 1965. She lived most of her life on the family farm south of Cedar Rapids. She nannied for Pastor Reimer’s children for many years along with other neighbors’children. In 2015, after her brother, Gary, passed, she moved to Cedar Rapids and later Albion.

She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids. She loved all animals, especially her dog, Lacy. She also loved flowers, reading, and walking.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gary; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
