Summer Olympics a chance for nation to come together

I love the Summer Olympics.Every four years, our nation has the opportunity to set aside its differences and come together. There is no Red, and there is no Blue. There is only Red, White and Blue.This year, the Olympics offer a break from roller coaster of national politics.

Going to school on property tax relief

We’ve been waiting months since the close of the Unicameral’s 2024 legislative session and now we have an answer. Gov. Jim Pillen has announced the special session of the Nebraska Legislature to tackle lowering property taxes will convene on Thursday, July 25 in Lincoln.
