Rood makes it to State in triple jump

    ALBION — Twin River may have only punched one ticket to State, but the Titans did see a lot of personal bests on Thursday at the C-6 District at Boone Central.

    Caleb Rood finished second in the triple jump with a personal best jump of 40-10.50 to qualify for the Class C State Track Championships. He will compete on Friday at 11:30 a.m. in the first flight at Omaha Burke Stadium.
