    DONIPHAN — The Titans’ late-inning rally fell short on Thursday.

    Class C No. 9 Twin River scored 2 runs in the top of the seventh inning but could not tie the game as Grand Island Central Catholic escaped with an 8-7 win.

    The Titans jumped out to a 5-0 lead after two innings, but the Crusaders would score 8 runs over the next 4 innings to take the lead.
