LINCOLN — Nebraska Public Media’s “Big Red Wrap-Up” sports series premieres this month with a look ahead at what fans can expect from head coach Matt Rhule’s first year with the Big Red. Beginning on Tuesday,Aug. 29, viewers can catch “Big Red Wrap-Up” live at 7 p.m. CT on World and Facebook Live, and at 10 p.m. CT on Nebraska Public Media. The series is also live online each week at nebraskapublicmedia. org/live and the Nebraska Public Media App.
Throughout the season, Mike’l Severe will host with former Husker defensive end Jay Moore, two-time national champion running back Damon Benning, “HuskerOnline” publisher and recruiting expert Sean Callahan and weekly special guests.
The Aug. 29 episode will include discussion about Rhule, the coaching staff he has assembled and Nebraska’s new 3-3-5 defensive scheme, as well as a preview of Nebraska’s first game against Minnesota on Aug. 31.
During every episode, Nebraska football experts offer in-depth analysis about the previous week’s game with video highlights and a breakdown of key plays. “Big Red Wrap-Up” also features background segments, interviews with special guests from the world of Nebraska sports, the latest Husker recruiting news and a look ahead to the next contest.
