Warriors top Titans in county dual

FULLERTON — It was a battle for county supremacy.Fullerton and Twin River met for a dual on Thursday, with the Warriors holding on for a 36-24 win. Only four matches were contested, with both teams securing two wins.Twin River’s Aden Andel pinned Timothy Hittner in 3:52 for the win at 144 pounds.

Titans finish 10th at Madison Invite

MADISON — Four Titans climbed the podium on Friday at the Madison Invite.Twin River finished 10th overall as a team and saw four wrestlers medal at the event.Zach Held (126 pounds) finished first, going 4-0 on the day with three pins.

OSCEOLA — After erasing a 13-point deficit and leading by four points in the final minute of Saturday’s game at Osceola, Twin River was upended by the host Bulldogs 50-48 as Brycen Kula converted a three-point play with 2.9 seconds left in the CRC contest.
