NPR’s ‘Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me!’ coming live to Omaha

LINCOLN — One of public radio’s most popular shows is coming to Omaha this fall. NPR Presents “Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me!” with Nebraska Public Media. NPR’s Peabody Award-winning comedy news quiz show will record a live performance at 7:30 p.m. CT, Thursday, Sept. 24, at the Orpheum Theater in Omaha.

Reeg sentenced in DeMuth murder

COLUMBUS — A Columbus man was sentenced to at least 75 years for the fatal shooting of a Fullerton woman.Jack Reeg, 26, of Columbus, was sentenced to 75 to 85 years in prison on Wednesday. He was given 317 days credit for time served.

LINCOLN — Today, Governor Jim Pillen signed an executive order ending access to tax incentives provided through the state’s ImagiNE Nebraska Act for data centers.
