Warriors fall to Storm in home-opener

FULLERTON — Fullerton ran into a tough High Plains team on Saturday and are still searching for their first win of the year.The Storm limited the Warriors to just 9 points over the final three quarters of a 44-17 contest. Fullerton connected on just four shots from the field on Saturday.

Warriors look for steady improvement

FULLERTON — It’s all hands on deck for Fullerton’s girls basketball team. The Warriors open their season on Dec. 5 at Burwell and coach Jason Maxfield knows his squad will look a lot different by the end of the season compared to the first few games.

Warriors earn Goldenrod season honors

FULLERTON — Several Warriors are receiving all-conference honors following the conclusion of the basketball season.Freshman Kane Wetovick was named to the Goldenrod All-Conference first team. Juniors Fletcher Dubas and Nolan Dubas received allconference honorable mentions.

Warriors fall in semi-final

CAIRO — Fullerton saw its season come to an end on Tuesday, falling 58-3 to host Centura in the semi-final of the D1-5 Sub-District. The Warriors (10-13) were held scoreless through the first two quarters.

Titans, Warriors learn Sub-District opponents

The path to Lincoln is set and the final push begins on Monday. Fullerton and Twin River learned their Sub-District fates on Thursday morning. Fullerton will play in the D1-5 Sub-District at Centura and Twin River will play in the C2-5 Sub-District at Cross County.

Balanced attack leads to road win for Warriors

GRAND ISLAND — It was a total team effort that led to Fullerton’s 48-31 win over Heartland Lutheran. The Warriors used a balanced attack from Jaci Maxfield (15 points), Georgia Bridger (14 points) and Paige Horn (10 points) to keep the Red Hornets on their heels.

Warriors fall to Eagles in 3OT thriller

NORFOLK — There was a lot of free basketball on Thursday in Norfolk. Four quarters were not enough to decide a winner between Fullerton and Lutheran-Northeast. The Warriors battled for three overtimes before Eagles were able to get the 59-50 win.
