Titans topple Warriors, 65-40

NELIGH — Not a bad way to enter the holiday break. Twin River cruised to a 65-40 road win over Neligh-Oakdale last Tuesday. Seniors Kirk Hebda and Ryder Kleckner gave the Titans (5-2) a strong 1-2 punch. Hebda finished with 18 points and 9 rebounds, while Kleckner added 16 points and 7 rebounds.

Twin River boys top Fullerton, 44-32

GENOA— Twin River got what they wanted for Christmas, a win over county rival Fullerton. The Titans used strong second and third quarters to take control of the game. Twin River outscored Fullerton 28-12 in the middle quarters.

Titans get balanced win over Tigers

TEKAMAH —Twin River kept the ball moving on Saturday as the Titans used a well-balanced attack to take down Tekamah-Herman, 64-53. The Titans had four players score in double-figures, lightening the load from any one scorer.

Titans win back-to-back road games

SHELBY — Fans may have paid for their entire seat, but they only needed the edge of it. Twin River improved to 2-0 on Saturday, defeating Shelby-Rising City in a back-and-forth 59-56 battle. No lead was safe on Saturday as the two teams traded baskets and leads multiple times in the game.

Titans look to keep improving each game

GENOA — Twin River has gone through the fire in recent seasons. Two years ago the team lost 20 games and never got into the win column. Last season the Titans finished won 6 games, but never won two in a row. Led by five seniors, the Titans looks to take that next step this season.
