HOWELLS — Twin River girls volleyball were swept in a triangular on Thursday, falling 25-15, 25-15 to D-2 No. 10 Howells-Dodge and 25-8, 25-10 to C-2 No. 5 Humphrey/Lindsey Holy Family.

GENOA — The football season may be over, but the Titans went out in style, breaking multiple team and individual records on their way out.
Twin River (2-5) defeated Madison (2-5) in a 67-26 blowout to wrap the regular season.

PENDER — Twin River boys finished 10th at the 2023 East Husker Conference Meet at Twin Creeks Golf Club on Thursday.
The Titans finished with 165 team points at the event.
Micah Stenzel finished 35th with a time of 21:43.20. Robert Elm finished 42nd with a time of 22:43.88.

Titans get revenge, first win of season

MADISON — What a difference a week makes.
Twin River avenged a loss on the same court from a week earlier, defeating Madison 25-20, 25-20 to pick up their first win of the season on Thursday. The Titans had lost 16 straight games to open the season.
