Balanced Titans ready for new season

GENOA — Great things are in store for the Twin River boys’ basketball team.This year’s squad will look to improve on the 11-14 record from a year ago. They are looking for their first winning season since 2019-2020, when the Titans went 15-10.

Titans looking to make history

GENOA — The journey for Omaha begins on Saturday.You do not qualify for the State meet during the first meet of the season, but Twin River knows that if they want to get back on the state’s biggest stage, they have to put in the work every time they step on the mat.

Titans building off past success

GENOA — A new school building is not the only construction project going on at Twin River.The girls basketball team is looking to build off of last year’s success after finishing with the program’s first winning season since 2018.

FULLERTON — A group of Fullerton football players received postseason honors.Parker Aaberg, Cael Dubas, Landen Glup and Kyle Horn all were named to the Class D2-3 All-District team. Tucker Smith, Jakob Supik and Isaac Supik were named to the honorable mention team.

Titans receive All-District honors

GENOA — Twin River announced on Monday that a handful of players received D1-5 All-District honors.Braedyn Rama ek er s and Colsten Rodriguez were selected to the All-District First Team.Adam Schroder and Chance Swantek were selected to the All-District Second Team.

Titans fall in 5-set opener

TECUMSEH — The Titans were pushed to the limit on Monday, but they couldn’t get over the final hurdle.Twin River (10-20) saw its volleyball season come to an end in the opening round of the C2-1 Sub-District at Johnson County Central, falling 25-9, 23-25, 25-20, 22-25, 15-7 to Aquinas Catholic.
