Warriors finish 8th at Central Valley

GREELEY — The Warriors traveled to Greeley on Saturday for the Central Valley Invite.Fullerton finished 8th overall with 79 points. Aquinas Catholic edged Central Valley for the team title, finishing with 168 points to 158.5 points.

Warriors finish as GRC runner-up

GREELEY — The Warriors will have Saturday’s loss in the conference tournament in the back of their minds for the rest of the season.Class D-2 No. 4 Archangels Catholic overcame a slow start to secure the Goldenrod Conference Tournament title Saturday, defeating Class D-2 No.

Fullerton boys 7th at Neligh

NELIGH — Fullerton’s boys and girls wrestling teams traveled to Neligh last week for invitationals.The girls wrestled on Friday and the boys wrestled on Saturday. The boys team finished 7th overall out of 18 teams with 81.0 points. Central Valley took home the team title with 210.0 points.

No. 10 Eagles top Warriors in Goldenrod Conference Tourney

CENTRAL CITY — Fullerton ran into a brick wall named Nebraska Christian on Tuesday.The Warriors struggled early against the Class D-1 No. 10 Eagles’ press defense. The offense was held without a field goal for nearly seven minutes.

Warriors win GRC opener

FULLERTON — The Warriors are moving on in the Goldenrod Conference Tournament.Fullerton opened conference play on Monday with a 65-20 win over Palmer.The Warriors led 32-8 at halftime. Fullerton used the third quarter to put the game away, capitalizing on a 17-2 run in the quarter.

Fullerton had a busy couple of days, traveling to Elm Creek on Friday and Dunning on Saturday.On Saturday at the Sandhills Thedford Knights Invite, Fullerton’s boys finished 8th overall with 63 points. Central Valley took home the team title with 198 points.

Warriors stay unbeaten at home

The Warriors are playing their best basketball of the year and are now winners in their last four games.Fullerton traveled to Central City on Thursday and defeated Nebraska Christian 61-41 and played host to Heartland on Friday, winning 42-36 to improve to 7-4 on the year.

Warriors drop pair to No. 9 Eagles, Huskies

The Warriors will look to regroup ahead of the Goldenrod Conference Tournament when they play Palmer on Thursday.The Warriors dropped a pair of games last week, falling to Class D-1 No. 9 Nebraska Christian, 54-31, and Heartland, 35-34.
