Warriors finish 8th at Summerland

SUMMERLAND — Fullerton wrestlers traveled to Summerland on Saturday for the Bobcat Invite.Fullerton finished 8th overall with 64.5 point. Pender took home the team title with 120.5 points, edging second place Guardian Angels Central Catholic by 1.5 points.Tate Wood finished 1st at 113 pounds.

Warrior girls in Manstedt Invite

COLUMBUS — Fullerton’s girls wrestling team competed at the Norm Manstedt Invite at the Columbus Fieldhouse on Thursday.Norfolk took home the Class A team title, earning 196 points. Lakeview took home the Class B team title with 157.5 points. They edged Yutan, who finished second with 141 points.

Warriors rally to beat Spartans 28-21

FULLERTON — The Warriors stepped up their defense and used a strong third quarter to take control of the game on Tuesday.

Warriors cruise to 65-37 win over Spartans

FULLERTON — A big third quarter lifted the Warriors to a win on Tuesday.Fullerton (5-4) used a 26-point third quarter to take control of their game with Ansley/Litchfield, cruising to a 65-37 home win. The game was rescheduled from December.

Wood finishes 1st at Pleasanton

PLEASANTON — The Warriors were back in action after the holidays, traveling to Pleasanton for an invitational that featured 25 teams.Fullerton finished 11th overall with 59.0 team points. Central Valley took home the team title, finishing with 191.5 points.Tate Wood finished first at 113 pounds.

FRIEND — The Warriors split a pair of games to finish third at the Exeter-Milligan/Friend Holiday Tournament.Fullerton bounced back on Saturday in the consolation game to defeat Shelby-Rising City 63-34.

FRIEND — The Warriors dropped a pair of games over the weekend at the Exeter-Milligan/Friend Holiday Tournament.Fullerton faced an uphill battle on Friday in the opening round when they faced Class C-2 No. 5 Humphrey-Lindsay.
