Warriors hold on for 63-52 win despite Titan rally

FULLERTON — Friday’s showdown between the Warriors and Titans was everything a rivalry game is supposed to be. In the end, the home team held on for a 63-52 win.“Out of the last 10 matchups we only had 2 wins,” Fullerton coach Will Wagner said. “It was good for our kids to get that win.

Titans beat Warriors 45-24, first win in five matchups

FULLERTON — There are certain games that teams circle on their calendars. Games against conference and district opponents always carry added weight. Rivalry games also matter a little more.Twin River coach Matthew Quick said that his team’s 45-24 win over Fullerton was a statement win.

Titans, Warriors shine at Elgin Invite

ELGIN — Fullerton and Twin River traveled to Elgin on Saturday for the Elgin/Pope John Invite.Plainview (along with their team of 17 wrestlers) took home the team title, edging Central Valley 177 points to 132 points. Fullerton finished sixth overall with 71.5 points.

Warriors compete at Elgin Invite

ELGIN — Fullerton traveled to Elgin on Friday for the Elgin/Pope John Invite.Taylor Cook and Delylla Olson competed for the Warriors.Fullerton’s girls wrestling team is off until Jan. 9, 2025, when they travel to Columbus for the Norm Manstedt Invitational. The multi-day event hosted by High Plains.

Warriors get 56-32 road win over Cougars

GREELEY — Fullerton scored their highest point total of the season on Thursday as they picked up their first win of the season by defeating Central Valley 56-32.The win snapped a 3-game losing streak to open the season.The Warriors (1-3) had seven players get in on the scoring.

Warriors open season with statement win

FULLERTON — What a finish!Class D-2 No. 10 Fullerton opened the season with a come-from-behind 60-53 win over High Plains on Saturday.

Warriors fall to Storm in home-opener

FULLERTON — Fullerton ran into a tough High Plains team on Saturday and are still searching for their first win of the year.The Storm limited the Warriors to just 9 points over the final three quarters of a 44-17 contest. Fullerton connected on just four shots from the field on Saturday.

Warriors off to strong start this season

CENTRAL CITY — Fullerton wrestlers got their first taste of action this season with a dual against Nebraska Christian on Thursday and at the Lakeview Invite on Friday.The Warriors defeated the Eagles 39-29, but there were only three contested matches at the dual.
