Warriors earn end of season honors

FULLERTON — Fullerton received word that a number of Warrior football players have received end of season honors.Fletcher Dubas, Maxton Meysenburg, Aidan Bittner, andAndrew Cunningham were named to the D2-3 All-District team.

Warriors ready to make some noise

FULLERTON — If you overlook the Warriors, you may end up on your back and looking at the lights.Fullerton has 10 boys and two girls on this year’s wrestling roster and they have aspirations of competing at state.

Depth a blessing for Warriors

FULLERTON — Don’t be fooled by all the young faces. This is not a rebuilding year for the Warriors.Fullerton coach Will Wagner said that it does not matter how you start the season. It’s all about how you finish the year.“It’s about peaking in February,” he said.

Warriors look for steady improvement

FULLERTON — It’s all hands on deck for Fullerton’s girls basketball team. The Warriors open their season on Dec. 5 at Burwell and coach Jason Maxfield knows his squad will look a lot different by the end of the season compared to the first few games.

Warriors fall to No. 10 Panthers, 64-54

BANCROFT — Another couple of minutes and the outcome may have been different.Fullerton (5-4) saw its season come to an end on Thursday in the opening round of the Class D2 playoffs, falling to No. 10 Bancroft-Rosalie, 64-54.The Warriors came out swinging to open the game.

Makayla Robinson (left) finished 93rd overall out of 119 runners with a time of 23:30, Morgan Supik finished 50th overall with a time of 22:02 and Tate Wood finished 77th overall out of 124 runners with a time of 18:59. Warrior runners see PRs at State

KEARNEY — It’s been a long road to the Class D Cross Country State Championships. And that road has a lot of miles.Fullerton had three runners participate in the state meet on Friday at Kearney Country Club.
