BRAGGING RIGHTS

GENOA — Fullerton can claim Nance County dominance following a three-set sweep of Twin River on Thursday. The Warriors cruised to a 2517, 25-17, 25-14 win over the Titans. Fullerton coach Theresa Bridger was pleased with how her team controlled the tempo of the match.

No medals, but plenty of runner PRs

CENTRAL CITY — The Warriors may not have medaled at the Central City Invite on Thursday, but every Fullerton runner had a personal best time for the season.

Warriors finished 5th at Boone Central Invite

ALBION — Fullerton finished fifth out of 12 teams on Saturday at the Boone Central Invite at Albion Country Club. Fullerton shot a 403 on the day. Columbus Scotus won the invite with a team-low score of 351. Keila Dubas led the way for the Warriors, finishing 10th overall with a 92.

Warriors win Exeter-Milligan/Friend Invite

FRIEND — They did it again. Fullerton’s golf team traveled to Friend on Tuesday for the Exeter-Milligan/Friend Invite and they did not leave the Friend Country Club empty-handed. The Warriors finished first with a team score of 389.

Fullerton gets first win of season, defeating Twin River, 50-15

   FULLERTON — Fullerton picked up a homecoming win on Friday, defeating Twin River 50-15, for their first win on the season.

Warriors win Heartland, Aurora invites

HENDERSON — Fullerton had three golfers score in the top five on Thursday as the Warriors edged the competition to take home the Heartland Invite at Galaxy Creek Golf Course in Henderson. Keila Dubas was one shot off the lead, finishing second with a 84. Tierney Russell finished third with a 88.

Warriors runner-up at Rebel Invite

LOUP CITY — Fullerton boys and girls each finished as runner-up at the Arcadia/Loup City Invite on Thursday at Sherman Lake. Fullerton girls finished second with a total of 20 points. Elm Creek took home the top prize with 8 points.

Warriors top Storm, fall to Longhorns

FULLERTON — What a match. A few balls go the other way and the outcome could have been completely different. Fullerton dropped a close five-set match at home to Burwell on Thursday, falling 25-15, 22-25, 25-15, 2426, 15-19. McKenna Plumbtree finished with 31 kills and 19 digs on the night.

No. 3 Jaguars too much for Warriors

HOWELLS — It wasn’t always pretty, but Warriors never gave up. Fullerton (0-2) hit the road on Friday, taking on No. 3 Howells-Dodge (2-0). The Jaguar running attack gave the Warriors trouble all night, cruising to a 54-20 win.
