Warriors get road win over Mustangs

McCOOL JUNCTION — Fullerton picked up a four-set win on Thursday, defeating McCool Junction 25-22, 25-16, 21-25, 25-11 to improve to 11-5 on the year. McKenna Plumbtree had 27 kills in the win. Lainie Ziemba added 12 kills. Isabel Norman finished with 4 aces.

Tee times for district golf meet announced

COLUMBUS — The race is on. Tee times were announced Wednesday night for Tuesday’s C-2 Girls Golf District at Quail Run in Columbus.

Warriors complete busy week

Fullerton had a busy week as the cross country teams competed at the Palmer Invite on Tuesday, the Ord Invite on Friday and the UNK Invite on Monday. Girls team take 2nd, boys take 3rd at Palmer Invite PALMER — Fullerton girls took home second place at the Palmer Invite on Tuesday.

Warriors finish 2nd at own invite

FULLERTON — The Warriors finished second on Tuesday, Sept. 19 at the Fullerton Invite at Pawnee Hills Golf Course. Keilia Dubas finished 6th overall with a 90. Melinda Pickrel finished 8th with a 97. Columbus Scotus’s Cecilia Arndt won the event with a 69.

Fullerton splits with CWC, Stuart

WHEELER — Fullerton earned a split last Tuesday, defeating Chambers/Wheeler Central in two sets and falling to Class D-2 No. 5 Stuart in two sets. The Warriors won the first set against the Renegades 2523 before cruising to a 25-8 win in the second set.

FULLERTON — What an ending. Fullerton scored twice in the final five minutes and the defense held off a last minute drive by Palmer to close out a wet 32-24 win at home. .
