Warriors see best finish at State golf

NORTH PLATTE — The Warriors had their best finish at girls’ golf state in school history, finishing 10th. Keila Dubas tied the school-best two-day score at the state meet. Fullerton finished their season Monday and Tuesday at Class C State at Lake Maloney Golf Club in North Platte.

Warriors go 2-1 at Rebels Invite

ARCADIA — Fullerton finished 3rd at the Rebels Invite hosted by Arcadia/Loup City. The Warriors opened the day defeating the Rebels 25-19, 25-19.

Warriors send seniors out on top at home

FULLERTON — One last home game for the seniors. One last win in front of the home crowd. One last chance to ring the Victory Bell. Fullerton sent their seniors out on top on Friday, defeating Giltner 64-28 to improve to 4-3 on the year. Fullerton leads Twin River 38-7 at halftime.

HUMPHREY — They are right where they want to be heading into the district meet. The Warriors had one final tune-up before running in the D-4 District at Elks County Club on Wednesday.

Warrior golfers headed to state

COLUMBUS — The Warriors are headed to state. Fullerton finished third with a team score of 421 on Wednesday, behind Scotus Central Catholic (363) and Oakland-Craig (412) at the C-2 District at Quail Run in Columbus. The top three teams qualify for state.

OSCEOLA — It’s really hard to beat a team that can score from anywhere on the field. That’s the dilemma Fullerton (3-3) faced when they took on Osceola (5-1) on Friday. The Bulldogs scored early and often on their way to a 60-30 win over the Warriors.

Warriors get road win over Mustangs

McCOOL JUNCTION — Fullerton picked up a four-set win on Thursday, defeating McCool Junction 25-22, 25-16, 21-25, 25-11 to improve to 11-5 on the year. McKenna Plumbtree had 27 kills in the win. Lainie Ziemba added 12 kills. Isabel Norman finished with 4 aces.
