Fullerton’s Future receives donations

Each year the Sunday School children of Fullerton Community Church choose a mission project to accomplish during Lent. Previous projects have included Heifer International, Orphan Grain Train, and Water for One Great Hour of Sharing.

Sex trafficking talk coming to Fullerton

FULLERTON — 900 individuals are sold in the state of Nebraska per month for sex trafficking. While there are higher instances of sex trafficking in more populated cities like Omaha or Grand Island, this is a problem that affects even the most rural communities.

NCJ staff wins 5 press awards

LINCOLN — The Nance County Journal is an award-winning newspaper.The NCJ staff learned Saturday night that they had received five awards in the 2024 Better Newspaper Competition Among the Newspapers of Nebraska.

Donation buys contents of Koala-T Preschool

Sullivan Agency Inc. recently donated $2,000 to Fullerton’s Future Inc. to purchase the contents of Koala-T Preschool. Elaine Sims is retiring this week after more than 30 years in Fullerton.

Filling the air with music

Kitten on the Keys Music Studio held its annual recital on Sunday. Leta Liesch teaches the nine students who performed. Each student performed a classical piece, as well as a fun piece of their choosing.
