FULLERTON — Fullerton Public Schools has their guy.The Fullerton Board of Education approved the superintendent contract with Joél Ruybalid at their meeting on Monday. Ruybalid was one of three finalists that interviewed with the district on Feb. 3.

Sheriff: Man arrested for sexual assault, enticement

On Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2026 The Nance County Sheriff’s Office arrested Neal C. Reardon of St. Edward on one count of First Degree Sexual Assault and one count of Enticement by Electronic Communication Device, both felony offenses. The offenses occurred between November 2025 and February 2026.

FULLERTON — In 1934 a group of 50 worshipers conducted their first service and became Mt. Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church. In 1935 they rented a building of another denomination, then purchased property and created a basement chapel in 1950.

Free throw competition is Sunday

FULLERTON — Calling all hoopers.The Knights of Columbus free throw shooting contest is Sunday.The contest will begin at 1 p.m. at Fullerton High School. Doors open at 12:30 p.m.Boys and girls ages 9-14 can participate. Anyone under the age of 8 can shoot for fun.
