County seeks election workers

Nance County election officials are currently looking for a few good men . . . and women. Nance County Clerk Adrian Chlopek said that she needs four workers at each of the county’s four precincts. The county has a fifth precinct that is handled entirely through the mail.
Best theme table and team went to the “Royal Crown Queens” which included Deb Blackwell, Jody Hogan, Julie Jarecke, Judy Palmer, Shelly Wiseman,  Karen Emerson, Pam Neujahr and Cristin Sherwood. PEO Trivia Night a success

Another fun evening of playing Trivia as the local PEO chapter hosted with local emcees Kurt Pickrel and Derek Smith. Several teams were within points of winning as the top teams traded placings in the last few rounds.

TREE OF LOVE

FULLERTON — There is still time to join in on the holiday fun surrounding the Tree of Love. The Tree of Love is in its 29th year. Each year 1st Bank & Trust puts up a tree in their Fullerton branch and members of the community select a name tag and purchase gifts for the stranger on the tag.

Grand Island man arrested after pursuit

BELGRADE — A Grand Island man was arrested on Friday after Nance County Sheriff Deputies responded to a call that a man pointed a handgun at a child before fleeing. Victor J.

Fullerton elementary holds Christmas concert

FULLERTON — Fullerton’s kindergarten through sixth grade put on a joyful Christmas concert on Tuesday, Nov. 28. The students were led by music teacher Kolton Kohl and accompanied by pianist Leta Liesch.
