Nance County Hot Shots to begin practice

FULLERTON — January marks the beginning of a new year of practices and competitions for the Nance County Hot Shots 4-H club.
The Tom and Jennifer Wood family has presented Fullerton’s Future Inc. with a $1,000 donation and pledged a total of $3,000 over three years. “Although we no longer have children attending preschool and day care, we know the value of early childhood development and are proud to support this important project for Fullerton”, Jennifer Wood states. Sundogs appear when sunlight passes through a thin veil of ice crystal clouds (usually cirrus or cirrostratus), and the ice acts as a prism, refracting the light. Fullerton Dental Care visits Head Start

On Friday Jan. 5, Dustin Schock from Fullerton Dental Care visited the Head Start Classroom. He talked to the kids about how to brush and floss their teeth and healthy snacks to eat for healthy teeth. Back row: Theo Meyer, Paisley Hodgman, Dustin Schock, Elie Hogan and Sydney Usasz.

Looking back at 2023

A new year is upon us, so the NCJ staff wanted to take a moment to look back at some of the stories that made the news in 2023: JANUARY Frontier Cooperative has donated $2,500 toward the city park equipment campaign. Their generous donation will be displayed on the donor wall at completion.

Eagles donates play profits

Eagles is about people helping people. The Eagles recent play was a success thanks to the director and cast, both putting in long hours and hard work. With the profits they presented the Veteran’s Museum and the Ballfield Irrigation project with donations.
