Rinkol receives honors

Twin River senior Brayden Rinkol received both Gold medal Best of the Class 2024 and Academic Achievement Award at Twin River’s honors night. He is the son of Randy and Nancy Rinkol. He plans to study Finance at the University of Nebraska – Kearney starting in fall.

State cattlemen foundation awards over $59,000 in scholarships

LINCOLN — Today, the Nebraska Cattlemen Foundation (NCF) announced they awarded over $59,000 in scholarships to help the next generation of the agriculture industry in their academic pursuits. The scholarships were awarded to fifty-five distinguished students.

FULLERTON — This coming Friday, the Flower Bells Garden Club will be hosting their monthly meeting at the Fullerton Public Library in celebration of their 50th anniversary. The Flower Belles held their first official meeting on April 19, 1974 with seven original charter members.

Cemetery Association receives $5,000 check
