County seeks election workers

Nance County election officials are currently looking for a few good men . . . and women. Nance County Clerk Adrian Chlopek said that she needs four workers at each of the county’s four precincts. The county has a fifth precinct that is handled entirely through the mail.

FULLERTON — There is still time to join in on the holiday fun surrounding the Tree of Love. The Tree of Love is in its 29th year. Each year 1st Bank & Trust puts up a tree in their Fullerton branch and members of the community select a name tag and purchase gifts for the stranger on the tag.

Postal workers ready for holidays

FULLERTON — It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas. “Thanksgiving to Christmas it gets insane,” Postmaster Tom Bates said. “We are starting to see the uptick now but after Thanksgiving is when it really picks up.” Employees at Fullerton’s post office are gearing up for a busy holiday season.

Local kennel to play host to national championship

FULLERTON — GoodLife Kennels in conjunction with The Kingdom Outfitters will be hosting the 60th Anniversary of the English Springer Spaniel Field Trial Association National Amateur Championship in Central Nebraska. In 2017 Collin Pickrel founded GoodLife Kennels.
