Sheriff’s department joins national campaign against drunk driving

Earlier this month the Nance County Sheriffs department increased the number of deputies on the road in order participate in a national campaign called, “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over.” One person is killed on average every 39 minutes in the United States as a result of drunk driving.

UNK announces dean’s list for 2023 fall semester

KEARNEY — The University of Nebraska at Kearney announced students who earned a place on the dean’s list for the fall 2023 semester. Students who are on the dean’s list must have completed 12 credit hours or more of classes with a 3.5 grade-point average or better on a 4.0 scale.

Loup board OKs retail rate change for 2024

Fullerton has long history of blood donations

FULLERTON — On Tuesday, Dec. 12, volunteers from all around Fullerton and Nance County drove to the Nance County Events Center to donate their blood. Fullerton has a rich history of generous bloodmobile donations. The first bloodmobile came to Fullerton on Nov. 29, 1950.
